If you’re a fan of the 2013 hit Yeh younga hai deewaniyou probably remember the touching moment when Kalki Koechlin’s character, Aditi, sends a heart-felt video message inviting Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) to her wedding. As the beloved movie returns to theatres, Koechlin has brought back that emotional scene for fans.
On January 2, just before the film’s re-release, Koechlin posted a video on social media urging everyone to relive the magic of friendship and adventure. The video begins with her playfully asking, “What kind of a person are you looking like? Even after 11 years, my smile is still dangerous or not? (How do I look? Isn’t my smile dangerous even after 11 years?)” Koechlin re-enacted the iconic wedding invitation video, but with a twist—this time, she encouraged fans to leave their busy lives behind and join the gang for a reunion in theatres.
She wrapped up with the nostalgic line, “Are we going too soon? (How soon have we grown up.)” The video struck a chord with viewers, as it brought the unforgettable moments of the movie back to life, making many reflect on how quickly time has passed.
