‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’ stars Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Meenkashi Chaudhary and is scheduled for theatrical release on January 14. As the film’s release date approaches, Meenakshi has initiated promotional interviews and engaged with the media. Here are some highlights from the interview.
This is your second release for the Sankranthi festival, following ‘Guntur Kaaram.’ You must have been excited with this rare occurrence!
Yes, I am exceedingly joyful and profoundly grateful. I am pleased to have a release for the Sankranthi festival season for the second straight year. In “Sankranthiki Vastunam,” I attempted to generate comedy, and portraying a police officer within this genre is both unconventional and exhilarating.
My portrayal of a police officer will provide audiences with a novel and thrilling experience. I also performed action sequences in this film. Both acting in comedic moments and performing action stunts are occurring for the first time in my career with this film, “Sankranthiki Vastunam.”
Did you take any references in playing a police officer’s role?
It was my long time dream to portray a police officer. I am pleased that I got the chance at the early stages of my career. I did not utilize any references. My father is a military officer. I know the basics about the behavior of police officers.
What was your experience acting with a seasoned performer such as Venkatesh?
He is an exceptional gentleman. He is consistently found in a happy demeanor. As an actor, his comedic timing is exceptional. Venkatesh garu is quite fit and vigorous. Collaborating with him was a learning experience. The camaraderie he shared with director Anil Ravipudi rendered the film set consistently joyful and entertaining.

Aishwarya Rajesh is a well-known actress. I have watched numerous films featuring Aishwarya. It resembled a fan experience; she exudes positivity.
How was the working experience with director Anil Ravipudi?
Anil Ravipudi’s comedy timing is fantastic. Acting in comedy scenes is tough as actors have to think spontaneously for the betterment of the scene. This is my first attempt at comedy genre and the director helped me a lot and explained everything in detail very patiently.
What are the other films that will be coming from you in 2025?
I am acting alongside Naveen Polishetty in “Anaganaga Oka Raju” and I have signed two more films, details of these projects will shortly be announced by the makers. I am hoping that the 2025 will also be as eventful as 2024.
