He suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds on Saturday while receiving treatment. The driver of the car fled the scene following the accident.

Hyderabad: A pedestrian who sustained injuries in a road accident at Meerpet three days ago died while undergoing treatment on Saturday.
The man Anil, a resident of Meerpet was crossing the road near MLA camp office when a speeding car hit him on Wednesday evening. The man sustained serious injuries and rushed to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment on Saturday. The car driver sped away after the accident.
The police registered a case and started efforts to identify and trace the car.
