Kamareddy: The police on Sunday arrested three teachers of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Nizamsagar, for misbehaving with girl students.
According to reports, the teachers were harassing the girls for a long time and based on the complaint lodged by the students, the trio was arrested on Sunday.
According to Sub Inspector Sivakumar, the three teachers were booked under the POCSO Act and sent to remand.
A week ago, a case was filed against a teacher under the POCSO Act on the complaint of girl students. Later, he was transferred to Karnataka. It is learnt that the higher officials of the JNV issued orders to suspend the four teachers.
