Australia has defeated India by six wickets in the fifth and last Test played in Sydney. The Indian team had set a target of 162 runs for the Kangaroos. In reply, Australia achieved the target after losing four wickets. With this defeat, India has also lost the Border Gavaskar Trophy series. Australia won this series 3-1. Along with this, Team India is also out of the race for the World Test Championship final. Australia has reached the finals and South Africa has already qualified. The title match of the WTC will be played between Australia and South Africa at the historic ground of Lord’s in June.
