Hyderabad: A woman bank employee, who left home for work on Dec 31, has gone missing. She has been identified as Priya (23), a resident of Thorrur. The gold jewellery and cash, which her parents arranged for her wedding, are also missing from their home. Police registered a missing case and started a probe.
Priya, who was working in a private bank at Champapet, left for work in the morning of Dec 31 as usual. She did not return home in the evening. When her parents tried calling her over the phone, they found it was switched off. After inquiring with her friends and relatives, the woman’s father Deepak Sha lodged a missing complaint at Hayath Nagar police station.
Police said after the girl left for office, her phone was switched off. It was learnt that she did not report to work on Dec 31, said cops. P Nagaraju, SHO, Hayath Nagar, said they formed a team to trace the woman.tnn
