Hyderabad: The winter chill intensified across Telangana, with minimum temperatures dropping significantly in many districts. According to the latest forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the state is currently experiencing widespread cold conditions.
Sangareddy district recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the last 24 hours at a bone-chilling 8.1° Celsius, while Adilabad and Kumaram Bheem logged 8.9°C, Mahabubnagar and Vikarabad 9.7°C, Nirmal 9.9°C, and Kamareddy 10°C.
The forecast predicts that the cold wave would continue for the next three days, with temperatures expected to drop as low as 7°C in some areas.
“Chilly and dry weather is likely to continue for the next three days. Some districts of the state are likely to witness scattered morning fog, and normal minimum temperatures are likely to dip further. People are advised to take precautions to stay warm and avoid prolonged exposure to cold,” said an IMD official said.
