Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the state govt has been largely successful in bringing back investors to AP by clearing their apprehensions following a reign of terror that was unleashed by the previous YSRCP regime.
He added that he is striving hard to bring the state on development track after five-year long destruction during.
He said that he has taken a vow to make his home constituency – Kuppam – into ‘Swarna Kuppam’ in the next five years.
The chief minister unveiled Swarna Kuppam vision document 2029 at Dravida University campus on Monday and said that he is indebted to people as they backed him to the hilt despite troubles created by his political rivals.
“Though, I am the chief minister of the state, Kuppam is my first priority as people voted me as legislator for eight consecutive terms,” said Naidu. He said that the govt set up Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) to accelerate the development in the constituency. He informed that each of the 65,000 families in the constituency would be taken as a unit and plans will be devised for their growth.
He further said that he wants one entrepreneur to come up from each family. “We are working towards improving the income of each and every family and bring all those in BPL bracket out of it. We have set a target of creating 15 thousand jobs by establishing large-scale industries, 100 percent solarization, construction of roads, incentives for population growth,” said Naidu. He said that they would also establish skill training centers, complete cargo airport and make agriculture profitable, among others. He said that they would grant pensions to all the deserving poor and grant free LPG cylinders through the Deepam scheme.
The chief minister promised to take up construction of a super specialty hospital in Kuppam and provide safe water for every household through Jal Jeevan Mission. He said that the Swarna Kuppam Vision 2029 has been formulated with a specific plan to make Kuppam constituency a modern tourism hub by providing incentives to Dwacra women and by distributing electric bicycles.
“There has been a reign of destruction in the state in the last five years. I thank the people of the state for responding positively to the call given by me, Narendra Modi and Pawan Kalyan to defeat YSRCP,” said Naidu. He promised to keep the trust of people by taking the state into development path.
He recalled as to how people made fun of his vision 2020 when it was unveiled in 1995 when he became CM for the first-time. He, however, said that Hyderabad become the IT city of the world and Telangana is at the top position in the country in terms of per capita income due to the foundation laid by TDP. He said that they would bring water to Palair from Handri-Neeva by June and added that they have readied a plan to divert Godavari waters to Krishna and Penna rivers to bring water security to the farmers in the state.
