The victim who is yet to be identified was travelling in a CNG car from Ghatkesar towards Ghanpur village when the vehicle caught fire. The victim tried his best to escape the fire but unfortunately his clothes caught fire.

Hyderabad: Man driving CNG car charred to death after vehicle catches fire


Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a man was charred to death when a four wheeler caught fire on the service road of Outer Ring Road at Ghatkesar on Monday evening.

The victim who is yet to be identified was travelling in a CNG car from Ghatkesar towards Ghanpur village when the vehicle caught fire. The victim tried his best to escape the fire but unfortunately his clothes caught fire.


“The victim managed to rush out of the car and collapsed on the pavement, but before help could reach, the victim was charred to death. Efforts are on to identify him,” said Ghatkesar Inspector, P. Parusharam.

Up on receiving information, police rushed to the spot and informed the fire fighters. A fire tender reached the spot and doused the flames. The police are checking the vehicle to find if any other persons were travelling in the car.
