I love the colour transition of Verde Montreal. It’s simply fabulous to look at in real life.

BHPian SunnyBoi recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Ever since I saw this video of a Guilia in Verde MontrealI have wanted this color on one of my bikes.

It was time to put the plan in action for the 390. Unlike Daisy’s paintjob, no new panel was used – all the old panels were taken off the bike and repainted.

Few in progress pics

The tank was not in stock but I managed to get few shims needed to do a proper valve clearance job. I want 4 x 2.46mm shims but only got 2. Will start the job after getting two more. Also pictured are 2 handlebar spacers so I can replace the old pulsar type bar end weights with newer ones.

New tank came in stock after ordering, I was too busy to collect so it ended up getting sold to someone else. Sigh. To get the bike running, decided to reuse the old tank but decided to retain the old gas cap since I didn’t want to damage the new one.

Panels put back on the 390

I got new 2017+ radiator shrounds and got them painted too. Theyre not a direct fit but can be “massaged” in place.

I had an accident on Daisy close to Nov End, The 390 came out of hibernation again and since them its doing daily commute duties. I finally got a new tank yesterday, hopefully I’ll be putting it on soon, along with a new injector and finish off the valve clearance. Oh yeah, both bikes got new batteries in October.
