Prashant Kishor LIVE Updates: Jan Suraj Party leader Prashant Kishore has got unconditional bail. The conditions imposed earlier by Patna Court for bail have been removed. The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court removed the bail conditions of Prashant Kishor after he reached the jail, after which he was released after filing a personal bond at Beur police station. Prashant Kishor is scheduled to address a press conference in Patna late evening. Jan Suraj Party sources said Prashant Kishor spent about three hours in the Beur jail complex where he was sent after he refused to accept the bail conditions. Before taking him to jail as a prisoner, the court lifted the bail conditions, after which he was released on personal bond.
Prashant Kishor, who was fasting for five days demanding the cancellation of BPSC’s 70th PT exam, was arrested from Gandhi Maidan in the morning. Prashant had said that his fast would continue even from jail. The court granted him bail on a personal bond of Rs 25,000 but PK was not ready to give conditional bail. The court had ordered to pay a surety not to repeat such a mistake in future. Prashant said that if he accepts the conditions of the court, he will not be able to protest in future.
BPSC had conducted the 70th preliminary examination on 13 December. The candidates are alleging rigging in this. Their movement is also going on in Gardnibagh of Patna.
