Hyderabad: Ramgopalpet police have advised Tollywood actor Allu Arjun to reconsider his plan to visit Sritej at a private hospital in the city, where he is undergoing treatment after he was injured in a stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The actor’s team approached the Ramgopalpet police and informed them that Arjun was planning to visit Sritej in the hospital on Sunday. In response, the police wrote a letter to Arjun saying,
“In view of the heightened public interest in this matter, and to ensure minimum disruption to the hospital operations and other patients, we recommend that you reconsider this public visit.” The police said in the letter that if the actor still insisted on the visit, he should inform the hospital management and the police in advance so that the necessary security arrangements could be made.
“We advise you to keep your visit confidential to avoid any public/media gathering on the premises which may disturb the peaceful environment of the hospital,” the police said. The officers warned the actor that he would be held responsible for any untoward incident.
“In case of lack of cooperation from your side in this regard, we hereby inform you that in case of any adverse impact of your visit on public safety and hospital operations, you will be held solely responsible for the same,” said Ramgopalpet inspector.
Meanwhile, Arjun visited the Chikadpally police station on Sunday to fulfil his bail conditions. The incident on December 4, had occurred minutes after Allu Arjun’s arrival at the Sandhya theatre.
