Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched ‘Jana Nayakudu’ (people’s leader) portal in Kuppam on Tuesday. He said the primary objective of the portal is extending good governance to people, and added the exercise would be extended to all assembly segments in the state soon.
Stating that it is his bounden duty to do justice to all, he said he has been bringing all systems back on track that were totally destroyed in the last five years. “I can’t repay the debt of the people of Kuppam who have elected me to the assembly for eight consecutive terms. People of this constituency ensured that the TDP flag continues to hover even in the remotest areas of Kuppam for the last 40 years,” the chief minister said, while extending his gratitude to people.
He said the ‘Swarna Kuppam Vision 2029′ has been designed with the sole objective to put Kuppam on the path of development in all spheres. “This initiative (Jana Nayakudu) is aimed at resolving grievances of people quickly. Besides being the chief minister of the state, I am the MLA of Kuppam, and the national president of TDP. I may have three responsibilities on my shoulders, but the development of Kuppam will always be on top of my list,” he said. He said the responsibility lies on him to fulfil all promises made by the party. “Similarly, as MLA of Kuppam it is my duty to look after the welfare of people of this segment,” he added.
He said the officials of Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) and his personal assistant will always be available to people. “They will receive the appeals from people and bring them to my notice so that they can be resolved quickly,” he said, adding that he wants to promote TDP activists as entrepreneurs to make them self-reliant.
Expressing happiness over the party membership registration reaching the one crore mark, Naidu said the party will take care of the welfare of all activists who stood solidly by the party when TDP was in crisis and promised to provide nominated posts to them. He also promised to remove all illegal cases filed against TDP activists with a single order.
