Kangana Ranaut is once more back in the news with her controversial comments and this time she probably targets filmmakers like Rajamouli.
Kangana is infamous for her disbalanced and disturbing views on various subjects. In a recent interview, Kangana has said that movies that show India in a bad light are always chosen for the Oscars submission but movies that glorify India are not.

She said, “Usually, the agenda they push for India is very different. Whatever is chosen for Oscars is anti-India.” There have been movies like Lagaan and RRR that have made quite a noise at the Academy Awards and there is nothing against India in these movies.
This year Laapata Ladies had been sent for the Oscars, and despite having many flaws and controversies, the movie does not show the country in a bad light. Kangana Ranaut might be targeting filmmakers like SS Rajamouli with her comments.

Rajamouli has taken Indian cinema to the international level once more with RRR and hopefully his Mahesh Babu film will be celebrated internationally as well. Commenting negatively about him does not undermine his success.
Kangana has time and again pulled other people down to promote her own work and this time too she has praised ‘Emergency’ over these films.

She has said, “Emergency is not that film. It is a film that’s brilliantly made and it is as good as any international film but at the same time, I know how geopolitics works. We, as nationalist people, I don’t have much hope with these award functions.”
