Hyderabad: The Task Force (South-East) team nabbed two interstate drug peddlers and seized 9 kg marijuana worth Rs 2.90 lakh from them at Sadath Nagar Road in Bandlaguda on Wednesday.
The arrested persons are Chandan Majhi and Bijay Takri, both daily wage workers from Malkangiri in Odisha. The main drug supplier Bholu, is absconding.
According to the police, the duo decided to earn easy money by drug peddling and procured marijuana from Bholu at a low rate and sold it to drug consumers in Hyderabad for a higher rate.
Following a tip-off, the duo was caught was caught while waiting with the drug to be delivered to a consumer at Bandlaguda.
The efforts are on to nab.
