The stage in the auditorium of V.R. Siddhartha Engineering College (Deemed to be University) was set with bright lights, with a digital scoreboard at the back and a lively audience of students cheering their favourite teams.
The questions started out easy and the teams responded with confidence. But soon, the dynamics shifted as the questions became more challenging. The mood was a mix of excitement, a slight tension and full of anticipation.
Quiz master Gautam Bose engaged the audience and maintained a good pace. What is the popular name for this ant?,” Mr. Bose’ question was followed by a brief silence before he spelled out the answer: “Kamikaze Ants”.
As the event concluded, the winning teams exuded a jubilant cheer, congratulated one another.
