Hyderabad, Jan 9 (UNI) In connection with the Formula E Race Case, Former Municipal Administration Minister and BRS working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) was questioned by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for nearly 7 hours at their headquarters in Banjara hills here on Thursday.
A day after getting permission from the Telangana High Court, KTR along with his lawyer appeared before the ACB but his counsel remained seated in the library.
This was after he was summoned for questioning in connection with alleged financial irregularities during the Formula-E race held in Hyderabad in February 2023.
Minutes before leaving for the ACB office for questioning in connection with the Formula-E race case, Rama Rao stated that his agenda was to make Hyderabad a pivotal hub for sustainable mobility as the world transitions towards it, and Formula-E race was a part of the effort to realise this ambitious vision.
He exuded confidence that truth always triumphs and justice will prevail.
“Worked tirelessly for bringing a prestigious event to India, to enhance the brand image of Hyderabad and Telangana globally,” the former Minister reiterated.
“Small minds who are driven by petty politics may never understand any of this, but I am confident that people of Telangana who are observing everything, will understand the truth and the vision,” he added.
