While KTR, former Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), went to the ACB’s office on Monday (January 6, 2025), he returned without appearing before the investigating officials as police stopped his advocates from accompanying him. Yesterday, Telangana High Court permitted KTR’s advocate to watch the interrogation by investigators through a glass window of the library in the ACB building in Banjara Hills.
A few hours before heading to the ACB office, the former Minister said that he worked tirelessly to bring “a prestigious event” to India, to enhance the Brand image of Hyderabad & Telangana globally.
“Agenda was to make Hyderabad a pivotal hub for sustainable mobility as the world transitions towards it. Formula-E race was a part of the effort to realise this ambitious vision. Audacious Intent was to make TMV (Telangana Mobility Valley) clusters the epicentre for innovation, research and manufacturing of electric vehicles creating employment and revenue. We had started well bringing in marquee investments of over 12,000 Crore during the E-mobility week 2023. Small minds who are driven by petty politics may never understand any of this but am confident that people of Telangana who are observing everything will understand the truth and the vision. Truth always triumphs & justice will prevail,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter).
