Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency Commissioner A.V. Ranganath asserted that the full tank levels of all the lakes will be ascertained through ground truthing in the coming three months.
Engineering experts from the institutions such as JNTU, IIT and BITS Pilani are being commissioned for impartial assessment of the FTL of tanks, Mr. Ranganath said during a field inspection on Wednesday.
He visited the areas from where complaints were received during Prajavani, the public grievance redressal forum, on Monday, including Turkayamjal, Rayani Cheruvu and Dilawar Khan Cheruvu. He inspected their full tank levels, in view of complaints from the residents that their homes are under water due to heightened weir.
He assured them of action after discussing with the irrigation and revenue officials.
