Hyundai Creta Electric Interior, Features, Boot Space Revealed

Hyundai Creta Electric interior has been revealed ahead of its official launch on 17th January at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. The carmaker says that its interior has been design “with emphasis on spaciousness, refinement and cutting-edge technology.” Here’s every detail of the electric Creta that we know so far.

Interior Theme & Features

The electric SUV has dual-tone Granite Gray with Dark Navy interior theme with ocean blue surround ambient lighting on the console, highlighting its electric nature. It comes with the 10.25-inch dual curvilinear infotainment system and digital instrument cluster screens. The info unit is compatible to wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The EV has three-spoke steering wheel with Morse code detailing. Hyundai has also equipped the Creta Electric with the touch type dual automatic temperature control (DATC) providing personalized temperature settings for driver and co-passenger.

The feature kit also includes an 8-speaker Bose sound system, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, dual zone climate control, in-car payment for EV charging, ventilated front seats, a voice enabled smart panoramic sunroof, shift-by-wire technology, Hyundai BlueLink connectivity with over 70 connected features, a digital key, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, ABS with EBD, six airbags, a 360 degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto hold and Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).

Space & Comfort

The Hyundai Creta Electric sits on a 2,610mm long wheelbase ensuring ample legroom, knee room, head room and shoulder room for all occupants. The OEM says that the EV has eco-friendly seats made up of sustainable materials using recycled plastic bottles for fabric and corn extract for artificial leather seat upholstery. For enhanced passenger’s safety, Hyundai offers an 8-way powered front seats and driver seat with memory function. The powered passenger seat walk-in device allows the rear occupants to electrically adjust the front passenger seat forward opening up additional legroom.

Storage Space

The Hyundai Creta Electric offers a boot space of 433-litres along with an additional 22-litrs of frunk storage area. The electric iteration of the Creta is likely to be as big as its ICE version that’s 4,330mm long, 1,790mm wide and 1,635mm tall.

Powertrain Setup

The carmaker has confirmed that the Hyundai Creta Electric will be offered with two battery packs – 42kWh and 51.4kWh – delivering power worth 135PS and 171PS, respectively. While the smaller battery pack promises a range of 390km, the bigger battery version delivers a claimed range of 473km on a single charge.

Performance Figures

The electric Creta can achieve 0 to 100kmph in 7.9 seconds. Its battery pack can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in just 58 minutes via DC fast charging. A full charge using an 11kW smart connected wall box charger or an AC home charger takes 4 hours.
