A 30-year-old person from Budavaripet in Kurnool district was convicted and sentenced to three year imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹20,000 fine in a POCSO case.
Superintendent of Police (SP) G. Bindhu Madhav said the accused, B. Rajesh, misbehaved with a 10-year-old girl. Rajesh used to show indecent pictures to the girl and harass her. Based on a complaint by the girl’s mother, the Kurnool III Town police registered a case under POCSO Act in June 2021.
Kurnool Special POCSO Court Judge Bhupal Reddy sentenced Rajesh to three year imprisonment and imposed ₹20,000 fine.
