Raipur-Visakhapatnam Expressway is an under-construction expressway which is expected to be completed by 2025.
After completion, this expressway will bolster the economy of the country by enhancing trade across the country.
The Raipur–Visakhapatnam Expressway will pass through Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
The expressway at present runs between NH-30 and NH-130C till Boriguma, then runs east of NH-26 till Sunabeda.
The Raipur–Visakhapatnam Expressway will cut the current travel time from 13 hours to only 8 hours.
The new expressway is a part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, and will connect the East Coast Economic Corridor.
This expressway connects Raipur and Visakhapatnam directly to central and north Indian cities like Delhi, Agra, Gwalior, Jhansi.
This new expressway is being built using the Hybrid Annuity Model mode of construction.
