Take strict precautions, large number of devotees expected at temples during Sankranti holidays: Telangana Endowments Minister

A few hours after the stampede in Tirupati, Andhra Pradeshwhich claimed six lives on Wednesday ( January 8, 2025), Telangana Endowments Minister Konda Surekha directed the department officials to take strict precautions as large number of devotees are expected at temples during Sankranti holidays.

Principal secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer was directed to review the situation at prominent temples regularly and take necessary measures. The Minister condoled the loss of lives and conveyed condolences to the families which lost their ones.
