Hyderabad: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is keen on setting up a national joint task force with the Telangana govt to work on a roadmap to make chief minister A Revanth Reddy‘s ‘Telangana Rising 2050‘ vision a reality, CII director general Chandrajit Banerjee said here on Friday.
Mooting this proposal at an interactive session of India Inc with the CM at the CII national council meeting held here, Banerjee said CII would also get top India Inc honchos to interact with the Telangana govt to address various issues.
“We’ll get the national players as you are seeing in this house today, and we will bring them to meet you from time to time to see how from skilling to industry to education to healthcare to agriculture we can cover each sector of your priorities and bring investments as well as see how we can work together for your vision,” Banerjee told the CM.
Goa-based Salgaocar Group CMD Swati Salgaocar urged the CM to take into consideration women’s participation in the workforce while formulating policies, while also addressing infrastructure-related issues that affect women.
TVS supply chain solutions executive director R Dinesh urged the CM to push Telangana to take a lead in providing warehousing infrastructure and work with large supply chain companies to make the state a global storage hub for automotive spare parts.
Rakesh Mittal of Airtel sought the CM’s intervention on providing right of way for telecom companies and tower companies and urged him to ensure all the K12 schools in Telangana have vocational centres to boost entrepreneurship.
