The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (A.P.-CRDA) organised a grievance day at the its regional office in Tullur near here on Friday (January 10).
Farmers from the capital region and agricultural workers presented their complaints to A.P.-CRDA Additional Commissioner G. Suryasai Praveen Chand. The officer promised them that the issues would be resolved quickly.
While a majority of the issues were addressed on the spot, he instructed the officials to resolve any remaining issues immediately. Emphasising the importance of efficiency, he urged the officials not to delay resolving the problems. Mr. Praveen Chand asked the farmers to take advantage of the grievance day, being held every Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
While 45 grievances were about land issues, three related to the planning department, two to social development, two to development promotions, and one each to landscaping and environment. A total of 53 complaints were received.
Special deputy collectors K.S. Bhagyalekha, K. Swarnamari, P. Padmavathi, G. Ravinder, A.G. Chinnakrishna, B. Sai Srinivas Naik and other officials were present.
