Mancherial/Adilabad: A 35-year-old daily wage earner, Ravula Suresh of Kagaznagar town, was electrocuted when he accidentally touched a live wire in Ramakrishnapur on Wednesday evening. The incident came to light on Thursday.

Ramakrishnapur Sub-Inspector G Rajashekhar said Suresh died on the spot when he came in contact with the live wire while he was engaged by a contractor to install electric poles of the Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (NPDCL).


Meanwhile, Pendur Arun (30), an outsourced worker of NPDCL, died when he fell off a pole while repairing a wire in Adilabad town on Wednesday. He is said to have suffered an electric shock resulting in his fall and subsequently his death while being shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad.
