A grand celebration unfolded at the Swarnagiri Sree Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam, also known as Yadadri Tirumala Devasthanam, situated atop the scenic Manepally Hills in Bhuvanagiri on the first day of Vaikunta Ekadasi festival on Friday.
Around 35,000 devotees flocked to the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara Swamy on the first day of the ten-day long festival.

The temple, which is known for its spiritual significance, was decked up for the occasion, with a series of rituals and services conducted throughout the day. Speaking about the day’s events, the chief protocol officer of the temple, T.V.S. Saibaba, shared that the arrangements, including Alankaari (decoration) and Abhahasan (rituals), had been planned in advance.

The Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Chikkadpally was adorned with colourful flowers. Devotees, young and old, offered their heartfelt prayers, seeking blessings for health, prosperity and peace. The temple was filled with the fragrance of incense, the sound of bells and the glow of lamps, symbolising the purity and sanctity of this divine day.

As the sun rose, the temple premises witnessed a steady stream of worshippers, some patiently waiting for hours to receive darshan, while others took part in the sacred rituals. The air was filled with chants of devotion, and the sense of unity among the gathered crowd created a truly special experience.
