The arrested individuals, Nanabala Gopi (29) from Andhra Pradesh and Myathari Ananthamma (40) from Narayanpet, Telangana, roamed the city in a car during the night. According to DCP (North) S Rashmi Perumal, they took advantage of opportunities to steal air conditioner compressors and other equipment, which they later sold in the market.

Hyderabad: Two persons who were targeting homes and stealing air conditioner compressors were arrested by the Bowenpally police on Saturday. The police recovered property worth Rs. 8 lakh from them.
The arrested Nanabala Gopi (29), of Andhra Pradesh and Myathari Ananthamma (40) of Narayanpet district of Telangana moved around in a car in the city during nights. “On getting an opportunity, the gang stole the compressor of air conditioners and other equipment. The property was sold later in the market,” said DCP (North), S Rashmi Perumal.
On a complaint, the police had registered a case and caught the gang. The duo are involved in four cases.
Previously, the gang was arrested for committing similar offences in Hayathnagar and Vanasthalipuram.
