A hero having an emotional attachment to a baby is a hit formula. You can name a few tens of movies from Bangaru Papa and Pasivadi Pranam. But even if the story is old, the story must be new.

It is difficult for Balakrishna to make a new story. Mix with elevations, dialogues and fighting to cook the story. All in all, a six. Let’s see how many runs ‘Daku Maharaj’ scored.

Balakrishna, who had three hits in a row, director Bobby Kolli, who scored a hit with Waltheru Veeraiya, and ‘Daku Maharaj’, produced by the famous company Sitara, entered the ring for Sankranti.

The story is..

A tea estate in Madanapalle in 1996. Its owner is Krishnamurthy (Sharad Khadekar). Knowing that his granddaughter has met with an accident, the hero joins the house as a driver. He protects the baby. He is not Daku Maharaj of Madhya Pradesh. He escaped from Bhopal to Tihar Jail and came to Madanapalle. Police officer Stephen is looking for him.

What is the relationship between a hero and a child? Who is Chambal Gajadonga Daku Maharaj? Why the feud with the villain Thakur (Bobby Deol)? All this will be known after watching the movie. Even if you don’t see it, you can imagine it.

The reason why the first half is tight and the second half is easy is because the end of the story is easy to understand. Second half is a problem for any director. If it’s good, it’s a super hit. The feeling of the audience while leaving the theater is important.

No matter how many riddles are put in the first half and the interval bang is valid. However, in the second half, all those knots should be untied and the story told to please. In such stories, the second half is the flashback of the hero. This is where director Bobby falters. He went into the routine without thinking new things.

Although the story is familiar, the first staff is stylish. Balakrishna elevation is in a range. He appears with less dialogues and more expressions. There are emotional scenes between the baby and him.

The hero who fought the local MLA’s (Ravikishan) gang for the sake of the baby had a different objective. The story changes with the entry of the main villain Thakur at the interval time.

Balayya impressed with three types of characters. Driver Nanaji, Engineer Sitaram, Doctor Maharaj. It is remarkable that he does not appear regularly in movies.

The film would have been a big hit if the director, who ran the story till the first half, had done that magic in the second half as well. Easy missed the target. Rodda Kottadu has somehow dragged Chambal background to the story and villainy.

It is not our fault if we remember Vikram, Jailer and Baahubali while watching Dakoo. When it comes to people’s problems, what immediately comes to our minds is water, mining, or land acquisition by setting up a factory.

No more patience for new thinking. Conveniently going back 30 years. There is no big difference if this story is told in the present time.

Mining problems in KGF have been reduced. If you see the same scenes on the screen again, it will be as if you have seen it somewhere. When they see Prabhas in Baahubali, everyone gets on their knees and salutes.

His followers do the same in front of Daku Maharaj. If you leave some unwatchable and think the second half is also okay, you can watch it coolly for Sankranti.

It is as if there is no heroine in the film. Pragya Jaiswal as Balakrishna’s partner is an unknown character. Sreenath got a chance to act after a lot of attention. Dabidi Dabidi song with Urvashi Rautela is a cross to the story. It seems that fans will suffer. In the middle of the dance, director Bobby also appears and steps.

If you think it is unnecessary to put a song while the story is going on seriously, then again the director is also seen to lose the mood of the audience.

A lack of villain strength is also a flaw. All the first staff are enough to get beaten up by the hero of Ravikishan Gang. Bobby Deol’s elevation in the interval seems to be different. He is also a routine villain.

Even with Satya and VTV Ganesh, there was no chance for comedy. There are many other actors but they are all padding artists. They just stand there and give expressions.

Hero punch dialogues explode at many places. The hero, who has a master’s degree in killing, keeps on cutting throughout the film. Gives fans goosebumps. For them Sankranti dinner is food.

Common to the average viewer.

After the first half, the director wanted to hit a six. A missed catch in the second half. But, the runs came. Not out. That’s safe.
