Game Changer Box Office Collection Day 2: Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s highly anticipated film Game Changerdirected by S. Shankar, has faced a significant dip in its box office collections on Day 2. Released after the success of Pushpa 2: The Rulethe film had high expectations from both critics and fans alike. However, despite a promising trailer and the film being one of South Cinema’s big-budget releases, Game Changer seems to have disappointed many, as reflected in the box office figures.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film saw a drastic decline of 57.84% in its collections on Saturday. While the movie earned Rs 51 crore on Day 1, it could only manage Rs 21.5 crore on Day 2. This brings the total India gross collection for the film to Rs 72.5 crore.
The Telugu version of Game Changer performed the best, earning Rs 53.95 crore, followed by the Hindi version, which collected Rs 14.5 crore. The Tamil version saw earnings of Rs 3.82 crore, the Malayalam version garnered Rs 0.03 crore, and the Kannada version brought in Rs 0.02 crore. The occupancy rate for the Telugu version was recorded at 31.19% on Saturday, while the Hindi version had a lower occupancy of 21.82%.
Earlier, the film’s makers had faced accusations of inflating box office numbers. The producers had claimed that Game Changer earned Rs 186 crore worldwide on Day 1, but these numbers have been questioned by some industry observers.
