Official: Thalapathy69 is the remake of Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari

Thalapathy Vijay is now working on his last film Thalapathy69 after which he will concentrate completely on politics. The actor’s last film is being directed by H. Vinoth and it is now in the production stage. For a long time there have been rumors that this Vijay starrer is the remake of Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari.
At the promotional event of Sankranthiki Vasthunam, Kollywood actor VTV Ganesh confirmed that Thalapathy69 is the remake of Bhagavanth Kesari. He said, “Vijay sir liked Bhagavanth Kesari pretty much. He watched the film for five times. Vijay sir asked Anil Ravipudi to remake Bhagavanth Kesari in Tamil with him but Anil didn’t agree. Many directors approached Vijay sir but he said no to them.”
