How is the picture? – In a sparsely populated residential area lives Priyadarshini alias Priya from a middle class family. He also has some girlfriends near his home. Manuel and his elderly mother Grace return to their own bungalow after a break. Their house is next door to Priya!
Priyadarshani, who has a penchant for investigating anything, investigates some unusual happenings at Manuel’s house. The plot revolves around whether he can untangle the knots of events or whether he himself gets entangled in them.
The first success of the screenplay is that we begin to participate little by little in Priya’s investigation into the events happening in the neighboring bungalow. Techniques such as telling the story from different angles without moving from one person’s point of view, untying familiar knots without popping them at the right time are perfect.
The shock that emerges at the final point where all the points of the film come together and the socio-political story told in it is well handled. It is a work of ‘unity’ that conveys feelings of mystery, horror and fear.
