Malayalam films are generating buzz countrywide with Marco being the latest Malayalam film which also captured Hindi audiences. Pulling up a psychological thriller is another huge task, but Sai Pallavi and Fahadh Faasil created a tremendous masterpiece Athiran.
Released in 2019, the film was praised for its phenomenal plot and thrilling performances. Set in an isolated hospital, the story revolves around a psychiatrist working on the case of an autistic patient. Touching various issues throughout the film, its edge-of-the-seat experience starts to blow up as it nears its end.

The film has been topping the OTT charts on Disney+ Hotstar since its OTT release. Almost 6 years after its release, the film is still being enjoyed by the viewers for its suspenseful storyline and excellent performances by Sai Pallavi and Fahadh Faasil.
