The Hyundai Creta Electric SUV’s prices will be announced on 17th January 2025 during its public debut at the Bharat Mobility Show in New Delhi. While its official prices will be revealed in a few days, here’s a variant-wise price prediction based on the available feature list and details. The Creta Electric will be positioned against the upcoming Maruti e Vitara and Mahindra BE 6 as well as the existing MG ZS EV and Tata Curvv EV.
2 Battery Packs & Range
Before delving into the price prediction, let’s take a look at its battery pack, range and performance figures. The Hyundai Creta Electric comes with two battery pack options – 42kWh and 51.4kWh, paired to a front-axle mounted 135bhp and 171bhp electric motors, respectively. Hyundai claims that the Creta Electric with the 42kWh and 51.4kWh batteries delivers a MIDC range of 390km and 473km, respectively. This EV can achieve 100kmph from standstill in 7.9 seconds when equipped with the 51.4kWh battery pack.

The new Hyundai electric SUV supports both AC and DC fast chargers. One can charge its batteries from 10 to 100 percent in just 4 hours via a 11kW AC charger and 10 to 80 percent in 58 minutes via a DC fast charger. Buyers will have in-car payment option along with an access to multiple remote charging functions via myHyundai app.

The Hyundai Creta Electric will be offered in four trims – Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence. It is expected that the smaller 42kWh battery pack will be offered only in the three trims – Executive, Smart and Premium. The larger 51.4kWh battery pack will likely be available in the Premium and Excellence variants. The entry-level Executive variant, with all basic amenities, is estimated to be priced as low as Rs 16.50 lakh – Rs 17 lakh.
There could be a major price gap between the Executive and Smart trims, with latter expected to cost around Rs 18 lakh (with the 42kWh battery) – Rs 20 lakh (with the 51.4kWh battery). The Premium variants with the smaller battery pack is likely to cost around Rs 20 lakh. The top-end Excellence with the larger battery and all goodies is estimated to be price nearly Rs 22 lakh or slightly more.
