Hyundai Motor India’s pavilion at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show will be graced with three major products – Creta Electric, Ioniq 9 electric SUV and Staria MPV. Each of these models is special in its own way. The Hyundai Creta Electric will be the first mass-market EV from the brand, while the Ioniq 9 is the flagship electric offering with range up to 620km (WLTP standard). The Hyundai Staria is a people mover, available in select global markets with multiple seating configurations ranging from 2 to 11 seats.

The prices of the Creta Electric will be announced at the 2025 Auto Expo. Meanwhile, the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and Staria will serve as the halo products, as the company currently has no plan to bring them in India (at least for now). Let’s take a look at key details of the Hyundai Staria MPV.

Engine & Gearbox

In global markets, Hyundai’s MPV is available with two engine options – 175bhp, 2.2L VGT diesel and 268bhp, 3.5L Smartstream MPI petrol. Transmission choices include a 6-speeed manual (diesel only), an 8-speed automatic (diesel only) and an 8-speed automatic (petrol only).

Colour Options

The MPV comes in four exterior colour options – Creamy White, Shimmering Silver Metallic, Graphite Gray Metallic, and Abyss Black Pearl. Buyers can also opt for premium combination with Dark Chrome and Brass Chrome. There are two interior themes – Brown dual-tone embroidered leather and Black One-tone Embroidered leather.

Feature-Rich Cabin

The Hyundai Staria MPV comes with a host of several features such as a 10.25-inch TFT LCD instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, USB charging ports (front to rear), LED ambient mood lighting, full automatic climate control (front and rear), air filter, premium leather upholstery, power adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, heated and ventilated seats, 12-speaker Bose audio system, an 8-inch touch display, and more.

Safety Features

For safety provision, this Hyundai MPV has six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, blind spot view monitor, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist, rear occupant alert, Isofix anchorage and child restraint system, driver attention warning with leading vehicle departure alert function, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, high beam assist, hill start assist control, vehicle stability management, ABS, electronic stability control, etc.
