Samsung is expanding its popular Galaxy Ring offering, adding two new sizes. Starting January 22, the company will introduce ring sizes 14 and 15, bringing the total available options to sizes 5 through 15. However, Samsung has noted that size and colour availability will vary depending on the market.
The addition of sizes 14 and 15 allows Samsung to better compete with rival smart ring makers, such as Oura, which already offers rings in sizes 4 through 15. Alongside the new sizes, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Ring will soon be available in 15 more countries, broadening its global footprint and making the ring accessible to users in a total of 53 markets by February.
The Galaxy Ring, which launched globally in mid-2024, sports sleek design, lightweight build, and decent battery life. The addition of larger sizes ensures that more individuals, particularly those at the higher end of the sizing spectrum, can comfortably use the device. The ring is available in three \ colours—Titanium Black, Titanium Silverand Titanium Gold.

Alongside the size expansion, Samsung is also enhancing the Samsung Health app to offer more advanced features that complement the Galaxy Ring. It brings new tools aimed at improving sleep quality. These include the Sleep Environment Report, Sleep Time Guidance, and Mindfulness Tracker. These updates aim to provide users with a more personalised approach to achieving a restful night’s sleep and enhancing mental health.
The Sleep Environment Report is one of the most notable features, using SmartThings to monitor and analyse environmental factors such as temperature, air quality, humidity, and light intensity in your bedroom. The app then delivers personalised suggestions for optimising these conditions, ensuring a comfortable sleep environment. Sleep Time Guidance, another new feature, offers tailored recommendations for the best bedtime based on a user’s sleep patterns and daily habits.
The Mindfulness Tracker rounds out the new updates by helping users manage their mental well-being. It provides tools for tracking mood and guiding breathing exercises, making it easier to integrate mindfulness practices into daily life.
