What To Expect?
Hyundai Inster EV

Media reports suggest that Hyundai India might bring in the Inster EV-based entry-level EV to challenge the dominance of the Tata Punch EV. Codenamed HE1i, this small electric SUV will be designed on the affordable E-GMP platform, and likely to arrive in the second half of 2026. Hyundai Insterwhich is sold in select global markets, is being offered with two battery packs – Standard 42kWh and Long-Range 49kWh. While the smaller battery offers a WLTP-certified range of 300km, the bigger battery pack promises 355km on a full charge. The new Hyundai small electric SUV is likely to come with the same powertrain options.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios EV, Venue EV

The South Korean automaker will give a generation change to its popular – Grand i10 Nios hatchback and Venue subcompact SUV. Speculations are on rife that Hyundai might introduce the all-new Nios and Venue with electric powertrain the same time around. The second-gen Venue will make debut towards the end of this year, while the next-gen Grand i10 Nios will arrive in late 2027.
Hyundai Bayon To Rival Fronx

This new crossover SUV will be positioned against the Maruti Fronx in 2026, with estimated price range of Rs 10 lakh – Rs 15 lakh. Similar to its global-spec version, the model that will come to India might feature the 1.0L turbo petrol engine in two states of tune.
