Wow. What can you say about that? Australia have extremely high standards in ODI and will be really unhappy with that total of 180.

It was a decent start with Alyssa Healy getting a quick 29 and Phoebe Litchfield getting to the same total a bit slower. Ellyse Perry looked brilliant at 60 before falling to an LBW.

It was a day for the England spinners, with the world-class Sophie Ecclestone getting four wickets and joined by Alice Capsey who made a brilliant comeback from a difficult day at North Sydney with three wickets. Amazingly, Capsey had only managed two ODI wickets before today.

Lauren Bell got two wickets including the last one of Kim Garth and crashing into the stumps. The England captain Heather Knight rotated her bowlers perfectly, causing a migraine in the Melbourne sun for the Australian batting lineup.

The wicket is providing lots of movement and Australia will need to make a super quick start in the field. England only posted 204 at North Sydney, but 180 should prove easy enough to chase for the visitors.
