As a gift for this Sankranti, the festival movie “Sankranti Akayaam” released from our Telugu cinema is also one of them. Let’s see in the review how this movie directed by director Anil Ravipudi with Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the heroines of Victory Venkatesh.
Story:
Coming to the story… Yadagiri Raju (Venkatesh), who works very honestly in the police department, loses his job because of his honesty. After leaving his job, he marries Bhagyam (Aishwarya Rajesh) and settles down with her family in East Godavari district. But how was the famous technology business tycoon Satya Akella (Srinivas Vasarala) who came to Telangana from America kidnapped? How did Vai Raju enter the mission where he was kidnapped. In order to know the level of commotion between Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary), who is also his ex-girlfriend and also a department officer, and Raju’s wife, you have to watch this movie.
Plus Points:
If there is one major highlight of this movie, it is the story which is entertaining throughout. It must be said that whenever the film enters the Godavari districts, the narrative continues hilariously. Mainly Venkatesh Family Episodes worked out solidly. An episode on his son at his home, however, worked out on a different level.
In this way, many episodes in the movie go well enough to please the general audience. It is known how family elements are in Anil Ravipudi’s films. In that range, it is good to entertain the drama between two women in a crazy level. In addition to this, it must be said that Uncle Venky excelled in his role. This long missed comedy from him has reappeared.
Also, the scenes between Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh along with him will connect with the family audience. In addition, the child actor Master Revanth, who appeared as Venky’s uncle’s son, was a hit in the movie. Everyone enjoys the scenes between Tanaki and Venky Mama. While Aishwarya Rajesh looks beautiful as a Godavari girl, Meenakshi shines as a glamorous cop.
Along with them, Srinivas Vasarala and Ganesh have done well in their roles. Also Naresh and Animal fame Upender Limaye laugh in many scenes. Sai Kumar also got a solid role. The film is going to be entertaining with a good entertaining story in terms of actors.
Minus Points:
Except Anil Ravipudi’s movie Patas, it must be said that all his lines are somewhat routine till now we are coming to Sankranti. In the same way, the routine line was stretched in the coming Sankranti too. With this, there is no novelty in this either. Also, the entertaining moments in the first half seem to have decreased a bit in the second half.
Even in the climax, if he had added any of his trademark comedy scenes, the dose would have been sufficient. Also, the situation has changed such that logics should not be ignored in his films, so unless they are kept aside, this may not be liked by all sections of the audience. Also, it seems clear that the score in Bheem’s action episodes in the second half has been copied from the theme of Vijay Leo’s movie Leo Das.
Technical category:
It can be said that the production values in this movie are much better than the previous movies from Anil Ravipudi and Dil Raju banner. In music, the songs given by Bheem became a hit visually. The score is also good in many scenes. Cinematography is good and colorful and editing works are good.
And when it comes to director Anil Ravipudi.. the best thing about him is that even if he chooses a slightly regular line for every movie, the way he directs it is like a sure shot. It is the same with any hero. It can be said that exactly this has been repeated. Even in Sankranti, the story goes on without getting bored with solid hilarity’s narration. It can be said that Anil has again succeeded as a complete package entertainer.
Verdict:
On the whole, this “Sankranti Amanam” will come to Sankranti and provide solid entertainment to the audience. Anil Ravipudi’s familiar family pulse as the main has worked out again. Even though there is a routine regular line, the drama that goes along with it is going on as good hilarity. With this, you can watch this movie in theaters with families for this festival.
