Actor Venkatesh and director Anil Ravipudi entertain the audience with entertaining stories. That’s why when the movie ‘Sankranti Ainyaam’ comes out from the combination of these two, the expectations of the audience have increased immensely. Before the release, there was a wave of songs and promotional films.. The expectations of the audience doubled as they were assured that Anil-Venky’s comedy magic would entertain once again. And what kind of feeling did this movie give to the audience in theaters?
The story is: Satya Akella (Avasala Srinivas) is a Telugu man who is emerging as a big businessman in America. Telangana CM Keshav (Naresh VK) brings him to Hyderabad with the idea of setting up four or five companies in Swarashtra and getting the people’s forgiveness. He assigns his security responsibilities to Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary). But when Satya reaches Bhagyanagar, the Pandey gang kidnaps him. But fearing that the government will fall if this matter comes out, CM Keshav decides to undertake a secret operation. For this former police officer and encounter specialist Yadagiri Damodara Raju alias Chinnaraju alias Vendi Raju (Venkatesh) is considered to be brought into the field. So his ex-girlfriend Meenakshi takes the responsibility of convincing Raju for this operation. And what happened after that? How did Meenakshi convince Raju, who quit his job in anger at the police system, for this operation? How did Bhagyam (Aishwarya Rajesh) agree to send her to the operation knowing her husband’s affair? What are the challenges faced in the operation done by these three together? That is the rest of the story.
Here’s how it went: It is a family drama with a crime theme. A breakup story is mixed in this. Briefly, the plot of this film is that a big businessman is kidnapped by a rowdy gang.. To save him, an ex-police officer undertakes a rescue operation with his ex-girlfriend and wife. In fact, even though the film team has made this point with the teasers and trailers, the interesting thing among the audience is how entertaining the journey of the three of them has been. The director started the story with Satya Akella’s kidnapping drama and took it into the original story in the first fifteen minutes under the name of rescue operation without annoying the audience who were paying attention to this interest.
Meenakshi enters the field as if she will convince her ex-boyfriend for this operation.. On the other hand, the story of the hero’s family is revealed.. The love he shows for his wife, the mischief he does with the children.. The whole story goes on entertainingly with the fun problems he gets from his uncle at home. Especially the comedy track of the hero’s son Bulliraju in the middle, the ruckus on the hi message.. all make you laugh. Along with this, the songs “Godari Gattu” and “Menu..” give pleasure to the mind. After knowing the love story of Menu – Raju.. Bhagyam’s family members react.. the phone conversation with the CM.. Bhagyam agrees to the rescue operation with a small twist.. the interlude scenes in this episode make the second half interesting.
Like the first half, the second half also starts with a kidnapping drama. The move of the hero to kidnap the main villain of the Pandey gang who is in jail.. For this, the ruckus he makes with his wife and ex-girlfriend in the hospital in the name of kidnapping Uthutthi is laughable here and there. From then on, the whole story goes on in a very routine manner as expected. (Sankranthiki Vasthunam Reveiw) In fact the strong scenes in the second half are not much. The snickers between Bhagyam and Meenoo and the emotions expressed by the hero while shaking between the two of them spread laughter here and there. The action episode that comes in the key moments.. the life principles of the hero with frustration while killing the villains.. gives a taste of mass heroism and laughs heartily. Climax is thought provoking to show the greatness of Gurus.
Who did it: Venkatesh, who has appeared in many police roles in the past, impressed as a former police officer. On the one hand, as a husband who loves his wife passionately, on the other hand, as a loverboy, on the other hand, as a sincere policeman, he appeared in different angles. The entire film made the moviegoers laugh out loud with its own comedy timing. (sankranthiki vasthunnam review) Especially when his wife comes to know about his love story, his emotions are entertaining as a man who can’t move with her on one side and with his girlfriend on the other side and burns with frustration. Bhagyanga Aishwarya. Meenakshi as Meenakshi. The comedy timing of these three is the charm of the whole movie. Chinnodu, VTV Ganesh, Upendra, Muralidhar Goud, who played the role of Venky’s son, tried to make people laugh in their own way. The roles of Vasarala Srinivas, Saikumar and others are in scope.
This is a completely Anil (sankranthiki vasthunnam director) branded comedy entertainer. Venky is what the fans hope to see. The dialogues written by him in the movie will please both the youth and the family audience. Compared to the first half, the second half seems to have lost its groove. There are a lot of extended scenes. But, in the end, he succeeded in sending the audience out of the theater laughing comfortably. Bheem’s music is another added attraction of the film. The song placements are all done well. The way they are shown on the screen is also a feast for the eyes. The visuals are as colorful as the festival. Build values are good.
