With the launch of Creta Electric, Hyundai is adding a major stepping stone in its journey. Creta Electric is poised to take over the Indian EV market by a storm. To make it more appealing, Hyundai has offered quite a lot of features in Creta Electric over the ICE model that has been on sale for the past year. Let’s take a look at top 10 features Creta Electric offers over its ICE counterpart (in no apparent order).
1. More Performance
Like all EVs, Creta Electric promises instant torque and exhilerating acceleration. It packs more performance than even the Creta N Line. The sole electric motor is rated at 171 PS max power and can sprint to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds.

2. Rain-Sensing Wipers
While Creta had auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers were given a miss. This feature is now offered with Creta Electric as well.
3. More Storage
As Creta Electric doesn’t need a conventional transmission tunnel, Hyundai is offering a floating centre console with added storage on the inside. While boot space is the same at 433L, Creta Electric gets an extra 22L frunk under the bonnet.

4. Exterior Changes
On the outside, Hyundai Creta Electric gets a new Ocean Blue Metallic shade along with a revised fascia that is more sportier than standard ICE Creta. To increase aerodynamic efficiency, there’s a closed-off grill at the front, aero alloy wheels and active aero flaps in front lower grill.
5. Ioniq Style Steering & Column-Mounted Gear Selector
Creta Electric gets quite a few elements from Ioniq lineup, which is Hyundai’s global premium electric portfolio. Among the attributes trickled down to Creta Electric include the new steering wheel with quad dots (Hyundai in Morse) and steering column-mounted gear selector.

6. Special Front Seats and Boss Mode
While Creta ICE got electrically adjustable driver’s seat, Creta Electric gets electrically operated front passenger seat as well. This unlocks electric boss mode in this camera. Driver’s seat now gets memory function too.
7. Tray Tables for 2nd Row
In the cabin of Creta Electric, we can also see the presence of two tray tables for 2nd row passengers of this vehicle, which is not available with ICE Creta.

8. Vehicle 2 Load
Because it is an EV, Hyundai Creta Electric is capable of turning its big battery pack into a large power bank with V2L function both inside and out. This allows users to even put a regular 3-pin appliance plug and power it.
9. Digital Key
With the launch of Alcazar facelift, Hyundai brought an innovative feature called Digital Key. This is an NFC-based feature that converts one’s smartphone into a digital key, even allowing remote engine start and drive away without traditional keys.

10. Enhanced Ambient Lighting
With Creta Electric, Hyundai is offering a rather extensive ambient lighting setup with more coverage than before. This lifts up the cabin ambience more than what the Creta ICE did.
