Mahindra ended December 2024 on a high note with a year-on-year growth of 17.78%, selling a total of 41,424 units compared to 35,171 units in December 2023. Here’s a breakdown of the sales performance across Mahindra’s lineup:

Scorpio, including its N variant, remains a strong performer for Mahindra. In December 2024, it clocked sales of 12,195 units, marking an increase of 840 units from 11,355 units sold in December 2023, a growth of 7.40%. Thar and Roxx, continues its upward trajectory, with sales rising to 7,659 units in December 2024, up by 1,866 units from 5,793 units in December 2023. This impressive growth of 32.21% showcases the enduring appeal of Mahindra’s off-road offerings.

XUV700, a flagship product in Mahindra’s SUV portfolio, registered sales of 7,337 units in December 2024, a significant increase of 1,456 units from 5,881 units in December 2023. This represents a robust growth rate of 24.76%, further cementing its popularity. Mahindra will soon launch electric version of XUV700, as the XEV 7e.

XUV3XO witnessed a staggering growth of 97.18%, with sales of 7,000 units in December 2024 compared to 3,550 units in December 2023. This substantial increase highlights the model’s growing demand in the sub-4m SUV segment. Bolero saw a decline in sales, recording 5,921 units in December 2024 compared to 7,995 units in December 2023, marking a drop of 2,074 units or 25.94%. Despite the dip, it continues to be a vital part of Mahindra’s lineup.

XUV400 EV demonstrated remarkable growth, with sales surging to 1,296 units in December 2024, up by 761 units from 535 units in December 2023. This massive 142.24% increase underscores the growing acceptance of Mahindra’s electric offerings. Marazzo recorded a sharp decline, selling just 16 units in December 2024 compared to 62 units in December 2023. This decrease of 46 units translates to a drop of 74.19%, reflecting its shrinking market presence.

Mahindra’s sales in December 2024 saw a decline of 10.38% month-on-month, with total sales dropping to 41,424 units from 46,222 units in November 2024. Scorpio sales decreased by 4.01% to 12,195 units, while Thar, including ROXX, dropped 12.05% to 7,659 units. XUV700 fell by 19.37% to 7,337 units, and XUV3XO recorded a dip of 8.57% to 7,000 units. Bolero sales declined by 15.95% to 5,921 units.

In contrast, XUV400 EV showed strong growth with sales rising 29.60% to 1,296 units, and Marazzo sales increased by 77.78% to 16 units. While most models saw a decline, XUV400 EV’s growth highlighted Mahindra’s progress in the EV segment. In the coming weeks, they will start delivery of BE 6 and XEV 9e, of which they are aiming to sell 5,000 units monthly.
