CM likely to release concept paper on P-4 model today | Vijayawada News

Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is set to release a concept paper on his new idea, the P-4 model, which stands for Public Private and People Partnership, on Sunday. The new idea aims to achieve the target of zero poverty.
Naidu has been advocating this model for some time, in which affluent people at the top of the economic pyramid will support those at the bottom in lifting them out of poverty.
Extending Sankranti wishes to the people, Naidu stressed the need for human connections. Everyone should meet their near and dear ones at least during festivals. Human interactions are crucial for happiness in society. “My wife initiated a tradition in our family 25 years ago to visit Naravaripalle for every Sankranti. I used to meet everyone during festival time and talk to them,” he said.
Naidu said that those who are in a better position now should also think about those living in poor conditions. They should start with their native village by providing employment opportunities to poor people. The P-4 model works on this method of the rich taking care of the poor, and it extends to multiple areas with an underlying focus on improving human connections and happiness, said Naidu.
The chief minister said that Andhra Pradesh started to witness an influx of investments. In the green energy sector alone, AP is poised to get Rs 10 lakh crore investments in the next three years. The Davos visit will help market the state for investment opportunities. By networking with global companies, we can showcase our opportunities and attract investments, he said.
Naidu observed that festival excitement appears to be more this time as reports suggest a heavy rush on all highways. He said that additional transportation facilities for travellers going to their hometowns are being made. Naidu suggested the officials to use school buses if required.
Naidu expressed satisfaction over the ongoing road repair works.
