Vaagdevi College of Engineering at Bollikunta on Thursday (January 16) hosted VIBA 2.0, an event that highlighted the institution’s focus on transforming students into job creators.
The event, organised by the Vaagdevi Incubator and Business Acceleration (VIBA) on National Startup Day, aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
VIBA has facilitated over 60 student-led entrepreneurial ventures, with 15 successfully launching full-fledged businesses. The incubator, in collaboration with Founders Lab, provided mentorship and a sum of ₹2.5 lakh in seed funding.
Prominent attendees included Raja Gayam (CEO, Bility Electric), Ravi Bhogu (CEO, Monitra Healthcare), Shakuntala (CEO, Founders Lab) and VIBA director Shanta Thotham.
