All the junior colleges affiliated to the Board of Intermediate Education, which are on vacation from January11 to 16, will reopen on January 17. As the classes resume, the second year students will have practical sessions followed by the practical exams, commencing in the last week of January.

Hyderabad: After a week-long short vacation for Sankranti festival, the educational institutions are set to reopen for the class work.
All the junior colleges affiliated to the Board of Intermediate Education, which are on vacation from January 11 to 16, will reopen on January 17. As the classes resume, the second year students will have practical sessions followed by the practical exams, commencing in the last week of January.
As per the timetable issued by the Board, the English practical exam for the first and second year students is scheduled on January 31 and February 1 respectively. Similarly, the practical exams for both general and vocational streams will be conducted from February 3 to 22, including on the second Saturday and Sundays. The exam timings are 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm.
Prior to practical exams, ethics and human values exam for backlog students is scheduled for January 29 from 10 am to 1 pm and environmental education test for regular students is on January 30 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Meanwhile, schools that are on short vacation from January 11 to 17 will resume classes on January 18. After holidays, students will have to gear up to appear for the formative assessment exams – IV. Schools have been asked to hold exams for Class X students by January 29 and by February 28 for students of Classes I to IX.
