BHPian Axe77 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:KTM Nariman PointKTM’s exclusive superbike showroom in Mumbai KTM just inaugurated its flagship big bike showroom in Mumbai and I had gone for the launch event on Sunday along with a couple of other biker friends. The showroom is company owned and located in Bajaj Bhavan at Nariman Point (South Mumbai) and is an impressive space indeed. I took the opportunity to chat with Mohit Ahuja as well, the dealer principle of this particular franchise and probably the largest (by sales and service volume) KTM dealer in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, operating several of the KTM Husqvarna stores. I believe at this point there are only three KTM superbike showrooms in India – Bangalore, Pune and now this one at Mumbai, all being Bajaj owned showrooms is what I’ve heard. The event had a brief presentation which principally focused on giving an overview of the various big bikes available for sale in India along with some associated marketing videos for each model. This was followed by the delivery of the KTM 1390 Super Duke R to this showroom’s first customer for this specific model. The models on display were the 1290 Adventure R; three 890 Adventure Rs, the 350 EXC-F 6 days and of course the flagship Super Duke which was delivered on the day. A 390 Duke was also parked in the display area. Each bike is offered here in only one colorway and one variant so options remain simple, as does inventory management. The store is very tastefully designed with KTM racing heritage plastered at various places as well as some KTM branded riding gear and merchandise on display. Dropping some pictures as well from the event. Detailed information on the various models is already provided in various model or range specific dedicated threads on the forum so I have not repeated it here. Please refer to those threads for more detailed information. The store is a really tastefully designed space, in keeping with its premium bike image. Some adverts of the Pro XP event. Incidentally, KTM plans to bring their offroad riding experience to India as well this year for KTM adventure bike owners. Something similar to what they did in Portugal (IIRC) in 2024. Set up for the presentation to follow. The big daddy naked – 1390 Super Duke all covered up before its delivery. Presentation by Bernard Masceranhas, Rides and Community Manager – Pro-Biking, Bajaj Auto The very first slide of the presentation made it a point to emphasize the brand’s racing DNA. Each model was showcased with an associated video for that model and an outline and explanation of the spec sheet that is displayed. 1390 Super Duke R. 1290 Super Adventure S. 890 Duke R 890 Adventure R The entire range was explained here – great for kids who want to start learning early. The 50 SX This entry level variant is clutch less to bring young kids into the fold of dirt riding. Its height adjustable so will stay with the kid till he / she is ready to graduate to the next level. Again height adjustable although this model now introduces a clutch as well, being a scaled down version of a full size motocross bike. Progressing on to the 85 SX from here. The 250 SX-F … … and the 450 SX-F The gorgeous (and street legal) 350 EXC-F 6 days. Which was also on display to be seen first hand. The Super Duke 1390 in the flesh. The 890 Adventure R in a white dominant and orange livery. And another. There were three of these in total. Merchandise around the store. Price list of both the road legal and the other bikes as well. Read BHPian comments for more insights and information.
