The California native player donated the prize money he earned from his First Round win towards wildfire relief funds. Tonight’s match marks an important step on Fritz’s journey to becoming the first American man to win a Grand Slam in over two decades. Fritz faces Monfils tonight in Margaret Court Arena, starting around 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
