Hyderabad: Anticipating a huge turnout of BRS cadre, Hyderabad police on Thursday deployed a large contingent of police personnel near the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office at Basheerbagh prior to the arrival of BRS working president KT Rama Rao.
As KTR reached Basheerbagh, cadre started shouting slogans in support of him. Policemen along with rope parties controlled the crowd to allow easy access for KTR’s vehicles.

Barricades were also put in place as part of the crowd control management alongside the arrangement of water cannons in case of any law and order problems. Police also arranged a media point near the ED office, keeping in view the previous experience at the ACB headquarters a few days ago.
Later in the evening, when KTR emerged from the ED office, a large number of cadre gathered to receive him. Throughout the day, police were on their toes on the stretch between the Traffic Complex and the CCS Office (Old Hyderabad Police Commissionerate).
