Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) reiterated his commitment to cooperate with investigative agencies but at the same time invited Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for a live debate and lie detector test on the Formula-E race case and the Vote for Note case.
After the seven-hour questioning by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday (January 16, 2025)KTR challenged Mr. Reddy for a debate saying both of them would take questions live to prove their innocence. “If Revanth Reddy believes he is innocent, let him face the public and judiciary with me,” he said.

KTR clarified that the funds were transferred directly from the State government to the Formula-E organizers without any middlemen or financial misappropriation.
During the interrogation, KTR submitted a report prepared by Nielsen on the Formula-E race, which highlighted the $82 million economic benefit to Telangana. A copy of the Telangana Electric Vehicle Policy – 2020, showcasing the State’s grand vision of promoting EV manufacturing and establishing the Telangana Mobility Valley was also submitted.
