He disclosed that ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ was offered to him even before ‘Animal’ was released. “I loved the universal script and my role. I never expected such a grand Telugu debut, especially in a Balakrishna film, which is why I immediately agreed,” said Bobby Deol.
He added that director Bobby Kolli remarkably portrayed his character, and he is thrilled with the attention he’s receiving. “The response to the film has been amazing, and fans keep asking me when the Hindi version will be released. The stylized action in Daaku Maharaaj has impressed my fans,” he shared.
Bobby also expressed his admiration for Telugu cinema, saying, “Language is no longer a barrier for me. I would love to work in more Telugu films and am gunning for a massive Tollywood stardom.
Talking about his other big-ticket film with Pawan Kalyan, he adds, “I am especially excited about my role in Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu. I can’t wait to see how the audience reacts to my new avatar.”
After essaying a powerful Thakur role in ‘Daaku’, a scion of the Deol family is playing a renowned Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. “The script of Hari Hara Veera Mallu is extremely unique and such stories will come very rarely. As I heard the story, I came on board without any second thoughts,’ he added.
He said that periodic dramas are loaded with emotions and have many intense action elements to endear to the masses. He is happy to be part of Hari Hara Veera Mallu since he adores the action-adventures, he concludes.
